SUMMER SAVINGS
Dear Constant Reader,

Is it me or has it rained at least once a day for the entire month?  I am going to tell you what to do if the sun ever does come back.  Wear sunscreen everyday and wash your face with a gentle cleanser before bed.  Marinating is good for chicken and veggies, but no good for your skin.  After a bike ride I know I need to wash up and reapply the sunscreen, and maybe you do too.  As a special extra this summer - anyone that brings in a memento from a road race, bike ride, or triathalon will get a free Weekend Warrior bath salt, made with Lemongrass essential oils for sore muscles.  I just did my first  (very very short) tri and want to spread the love around to all of my fellow weekend warriors.

3/50 Project

At a recent Natick Center Associates meeting, I learned the following fact.  If half of the employed population picked three local owned independent businesses and spent $50 each month, it would generate more than $42.6 billion in revenue.  For every $100 spent at a local business, $68 is returned back to the same community.  Now, if you already read this newsletter, chances are you love small local businesses.  The Littlest Spa is proud to be a part of this "economic tsunami".  Check out the 3/50 Project website - it is very cool.  Pick 3, spend $50, save the local economy.  Radical new concept.  Let's start a revolution!  http://www.the350project.net/home.html
