| Dear Constant Reader,
We are so busy - who doesn't love a $45 facial? About half of Natick has come in so far this spring. We still have to get to the other half. We have expanded our hours for spring and are now open until 8 pm on Monday and Friday, and by appointment on Sunday. Our first Spa-A-Thon raised $380 for Embrace A Family. A great big thank you to everyone that volunteered and came to have treatments. It was an awesome day! |

May is Teacher Appreciation Month
The Littlest Spa will be giving away ten free facials, so if you know a teacher send along this email or book an appointment for her (or him). When we have reached ten we will go back to the very low price of $45 for everyone else. Free facials will be booked on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the month of May. Hint: Teachers also like gift certificates to The Littlest Spa. You must be a self declared teacher for this promotion - college professor, kindergarten, yoga, the subject doesn't matter as long as you call yourself a teacher. |

As the weather gets warmer and we trade in our waterproof boots for flip flops (shudder) we have to be careful not to hurt our feet. Many people suffer from plantar fasciitis. It is extreme pain in the bottom of the foot. The calf muscles connect into the plantar (bottom) surface of the foot, and poor support can cause little tears that really hurt. When you are used to wearing heavy supportive shoes or orthotics, you may pull or damage something and have a lot of pain. Change up your shoes everyday, no flip flops ever!!! Well, maybe in the shower if your roommates are gross, but not for all day or walking around outside. Regular "Rub My Feet" sessions will make everything much, much better. |

We are a proud member of NCA and have been going to lots of meetings at 8am on Thursdays to help plan fun activities in the town center. Spring Celebration is Saturday, May 16 on Natick Common. The Littlest Spa is part of the Scavenger Hunt, so stop in for a free one ounce container of bath salts. Complete the whole tour of Natick Center and enter to win gift certificates from the Natick Outdoor Store. The first ArtWalk of 2009 is Thursday, May 21 from 5:30-8pm. Stop by for free refreshments and culture. |
The Littlest Spa Turns 1 Year Old!
Sunday, June 14 from 1-5 we will be hosting a Vision Board Workshop and then...eat cake.
Here is the part where I shamelessly promote my friend's businesses. My amazing Yin Yoga teacher, Katherine Zittebart, has profoundly changed how I feel everyday. Yin Yoga is all done on the floor with support and works deep in the ligaments. It has freed up my 15 year old car accident issues and I have very little-to-no pain now. I have been practicing with her once a week since September. They have decided to cancel the class at Gold's Gym, so now I am sad. Katherine will be presenting a yin yoga workshop at Prana Power Yoga in Newton on Sunday, May 31st from 1-3pm. It is okay to go to another place and try something new. Vision boards are powerful tools to help you achieve your dreams and goals. In this workshop, you will create a poster-board that is a visional representation or blueprint of the life of your dreams. You will use meditation, visualization, and specialized collage to discover and manifest your inner desires, passions and goals. Space is limited. There will be a littlest party and cake at the end.

Amy will be on vacation May 6-10, and The Littlest Spa will be closed, so we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
