April News from The Littlest Spa
Dear Constant Reader,

March came in like a lion and went out like a ...wet lion.  We had out busiest month yet!  Thank you to everyone that brought in canned food and referred friends.  We are expanding our staff and hours to make room for everyone and will now be doing treatments on Sundays and Mondays.   Erin Cronin, Licensed Massage Therapist, will be available to see clients on Thursday evenings.  Erin specializes in deep tissue massage.   We are in the process of bringing on another talented and experienced esthetician for detailed waxing and fabulous facials.

We have new paintings by Holly Lombardo and are now selling her handmade greeting cards for $3 each.  See all of her work on her award winning blog here: www.paintedpaperbyholly.blogspot.com.
Our First Ever Spa-A-Thon
Sunday, April 26, 10 - 4

The Littlest Spa is doing a fundraiser for Embrace A Family, a local group that helps families that have lost a mom to cancer.  They are a small grassroots organization here in Natick that helps to bring the mammography van to town (which is coming April 14th this year).  All kinds of good information here: www.natickrotary.org.

100% of this day will go to Embrace A Family.  We will have brow waxing for $10, foot massage for $20, Reiki treatments by Michelle for $20 and mini facials for $25.  Please bring a check to keep for next year's tax donations.  Tell your friends and make a day of it.  We have four volunteers to do treatments and can accommodate three people at a time.  Please call 508-653-2922 or email amy@thelittlestspa.com to reserve your space.

The Littlest Spa is mentioned in Lola magazine in the brand new April spa and beauty edition on the page 22.  We love Lola magazine and we love free press.  We are still little and have no budget for advertising.  They mixed up the phone number, so many, many apologies to the nice Natick resident who is going to get a lot calls.  Pick up a copy here or find a location near you www.lolaboston.com.  We would like to make this an annual event, so please help us spread the word by forwarding this email.  It takes a community to support a family.  Thank you.

Spring Renewal Facial

Get rid of that dull winter skin with a chamomile cleanser, citrus enzyme peel and a lemon jello masque (it smells like lemon jello, it is not actually made from lemon jello.)  Finishes with moisturizer with sunscreen (SPF 30, everyday) or night cream.  Along the way there will be a fabulous scalp massage, a little foot rubbing and a warm table to lie on.

Our Price: $ 45
Yin Yoga

Here is the part where I shamelessly promote my friend's businesses.  My amazing Yin Yoga teacher, Katherine Zittebart, has profoundly changed how I feel everyday.  Yin Yoga is all done on the floor with support and works deep in the ligaments.  It has freed up my 15 year old car accident issues and I have very little-to-no pain now.  I have been practicing with her once a week since September.  If you are free on Thursday night from 6:45-8pm, I highly recommend her class at Gold's Gym in Natick.  They have free weekly tryout memberships on their website.   She will also be presenting a yin yoga workshop at Prana Power Yoga in Newton on Sunday, May 31st from 1-3pm.  It is okay to go to another place and try something new.   Check out the rest of her website here: www.katherinezitterbart.com.   Click "workshops" to register.

On Sunday, June 14 from 1-5pm Katherine will be doing a vision board workshop at The Littlest Spa.  Vision boards are powerful tools to help you achieve your dreams and goals.   In this workshop, you will create a poster-board that is a visional representation or blueprint of the life of your dreams.  You will use meditation, visualization, and specialized collage to discover and manifest your inner desires, passions and goals.  Space is limited.  There will be a littlest party and cake at the end, because The Littlest Spa is having her first birthday, but more about that next time.

Sincerely,

Amy Elizabeth

Senior Citizens and those living with cancer will get a 25 minute reflexology session for $25 everyday.
