Prayers for Safe Travels
Please pray for the group of 10 teacher volunteers from our area who leave October 16 for the inaugural Haiti Teacher Training Trip.
This is the first attempt to promote and support the Haitian education community. Prayers fro safe travels, discernment, fruitful discussion and training are very much appreciated.

All Welcome to the Halloween Hotdog Dinner Spooktacular Join us for our annual hotdog and soda dinner on October 27, 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Great Hall. We have tons of activities for the kids, including Thomas Lilly from the One-Step MagiCompany performing a comedy-magic show with loads of audience participation and laughs for all ages. Show starts at 6:15pm.
This year we are also featuring FREE child identification and fingerprinting provided by the Fairfax Co. Sheriff's Office. Volunteers needed too. Contact phil.kratovil@viennapres.org.

Student Ministries Fall Retreat - November 16-18
It's that time of year again...time for the annual Student and Youth Worship Ministries Fall Retreat. Join us for a weekend of fun, fellowship, worship, games and a great speaker. Registration is $125, additional cost for high ropes and climbing wall.

Final Decision on VPC's Vision and Mission At its monthly meeting in August 2012, the VPC Session acted on the previously-proposed goals (five advancing goals and two sustaining goals). Session voted to adopt four of the five advancing goals and the two sustaining goals. Read more.
