HighPoint Sunday School Summer Schedule

During August and September 2, Sunday school for PreK 3's through Kindergarten meet in Room 118 at 9:30 and 11am.  There is no Sunday school for rising 1st - 6th graders.

Register your child for 2012-2013 Sunday School year.

Our love, prayers and appreciation go with Chris Hammond, who has served as Pastoral Associate.  We are grateful to God for the ministry Chris at VPC.
 
New Screens in Sanctuary and Narthex

The new flat screens you will begin to see are part of an exciting new upgrade to enhance the worship experience at VPC.  The upgrade will include screen visibility to the entire congregation including the choir, pastors, and worship leaders; enhanced audio quality; cameras for archival and streaming purposes and more.  The new screens in the Narthex will replace posters and easels for announcing important church-wide initiatives and events!

Labor (with &) 4 Your Neighbor, Sunday, September 2
For the fourth year in a row, we will dedicate the Sunday of Labor Day weekend to serving others.  It's been so successful and os much fun, we want to to invite others to join in the fun.  Invite friends, family, neighbors to join you in worship and then serve with you in Vienna and beyond.  Want to get involved, contact  sue.hamblen@viennapres.org.
 
 
New Resource Guide for Senior Adults and Caregivers 
The Senior Ministries Leadership Team led by Charles Geschiere, Director of Congregational Care produced a resource guide for senior adults and/or caregivers.  The guide is now available online at www.viennapres.org/SeniorResources.  

 
 
Growing Your Soul
Are you looking for new direction or a deeper encounter with God?  Growing Your Soul is an intensive nine month experience of communion and spiritual formation beginning in September.  Groups are now forming.  Application deadline: August 13.  Read more.
