            | | Dear Friends, This time of the year truly is cheering, even if it sometimes feels overwhelming.  Maybe that's because (as studies have shown ) spending money on others promotes our own happiness.  Or maybe it's that this is the time of year when we gather together with our friends and families, relying on that sense of community to get us through the shortest days of the year. So far as the overwhelming parts of this season, we'd like to help:  Here at Phoenix, we have something for everyone, and we love helping you find just the right gift for even the most challenging people on your list.  You'll find lots of possibilities below, and we're always happy to make suggestions in person. When you choose to shop at Phoenix, you're not just supporting a local bookstore:  You're also supporting local authors, artists , artisans , bakeries, booksellers, photographers , and publishers.  You're supporting your community - and that is the biggest gift you could give to us .  Thank you.Sincerely,
Mike, Renee, Beth, Colleen, Deb, Heather, Katie, Kristen,  Rachel M., Rachel O., Rick, and Tod     |
