Dear Friends,
Summer's warmth may seem far away, but spring is on its way, and as winter draws to a close we have everything you need to celebrate the concept and color green:
There's our green living section, always a favorite - and if you'd like to learn more about mindful living, please come to the Everything Buddhism event with Arnie Kozak, PhD.
Then there are this month's cafe specials, which celebrate the land of forty shades of green - as does a special event with local author William L. McKone.
If you'd like to get in touch with the green world and the critters that live there, check out our gardening section - and Newt Night, an exciting evening for budding scientists and naturalists-at-heart.
You'll find info about all these events and more below - plus some of our favorite new children's and young adult titles. See you among the shelves!
Sincerely,Mike, Renee, Beth, Colleen, Heather, Katie, Kristen, Nora, Rachel M., Rachel O., and Tod
