You Had A Lot to Say... Superintendent Survey Results
Thank you to the over 650 respondents to our quick Superintendent survey; We have tabulated the results, analyzed them, and identified headlines in a letter to School Board Directors. Major findings include:
- The Superintendent is viewed as weakest when it comes to community engagement.
- The Superintendent is perceived as strongest at using "Excellence for All" to make decisions, but even those ratings are negative overall.
- Overall satisfaction with the Superintendent is low amongst respondents.
- Feedback on the Superintendent was consistent across the city (with 37 zip codes across Seattle represented).
- Anonymous responses were more negative, but non-anonymous responses were still solidly negative.
To read the letter and full report (including more than 300 individual comments), link to the Superintendent Survey.
For those of you who haven't yet voiced your opinion, the survey is now closed, but it's not too late to
share your thoughts with the School Board. Call or email and indicate that you have feedback on the Superintendent. Your voice is important! CPPS and parents throughout the city want nothing less than to see our Superintendent succeed at providing excellence for all - not just our own children, but all Seattle's children for the future of our city.
And note the date change -- CPPS is moving its Annual Meeting to Tuesday, June 1st, 6:30pm , at John Stanford International School Cafeteria -- 4057 5th Ave. NE
