Pork Promotion is Off and Running...

and swimming ...and biking! ...

What better way to promote the value of pork as part of a healthy diet than to go straight to the people who are focused on just that?

TriLogoIn 2010, North Carolina pork producers will be promoting "Pork Power" at five triathlons across the state. We will be sharing with athletes and spectators the skinny on pork nutrition.

Our first event was in White Lake on May 1st & 2nd. Producers came out to serve grilled loins to the athletes and share the power of pork and cooking tips. It was a great event with lots of opportunity to promote pork to a large and attentive audience.

Tri Photo for P LineWe'd love to have lots of producers at each of the events. To volunteer your time or for more information, please contact Ann Edmondson at the NCPC office by calling 919-781-0361 or email her at ann@ncpork.org.

Future events, dates and locations:

Tri Latta Triathlon - June 12 & 13 - Charlotte

Triangle Triathlon - July 10 & 11 - Raleigh
