American Tower Financing Indian Tower Purchase
American Tower, once thought to be one of Reliance Communications' suitors, has become a player in the Indian market on a smaller scale with 7,400 tower sites. In August, American began a public offering in August of $700 million to finance its acquisition of Essar Telecom Infrastructure, which was announced last February. Cell Tower Copper Thefts Total $3,550
Lee County, Fla., sheriff's officers are investigating the theft of seven copper buss bars from a cell tower in St. James City, Fla., according to WBBH NBC Channel 2. A field engineer for AT&T called deputies on August 31 after the buss bars had disappeared. MORE |
