Ladder/Lanyard
FrenchCreek Production's U-Res-Q ladder/lanyard allows a fallen climber to either climb back to the work platform or stand on the ladder to relieve 100 percent of the harness pressure, increasing blood flow. In the event of a fall, U-Res-Q's pouch releases a 16-foot synthetic rescue ladder and alleviates suspension trauma by relieving the leg harness tension caused by suspension. www.frenchcreekproduction.com |
Avian Avoidance System
The Firefly Diverter from Bird Busters reduces collisions using motion, reflectivity and luminescent emissions. Flappers are installed up to 50 feet apart on the guy wires of an antenna. When the wind blows, they spin increasing visibility of the tower allowing the birds to avoid it. The UV-stable, impact-resistant flappers are 1/8 inch thick by 3.5 inches long by 5/7 inches wide, and they use acrylic, phosphorescent and reflective sheeting to catch the bird's eye. www.birdbusters.com |
