 Jumper Uses Connecticut Tower For His "BASE"
The sport known as B.A.S.E. jumping is known for being dangerous (example at left), but a man in Connecticut took that danger to a new level by scaling a lit tower and passing an array of antennas before parachuting down from nearly 1,400 feet. The tower is home to a 50 kilowatt ERP FM station, as well as microwave antennas and XM Radio repeaters.
