Ground Connector
Harger Lightning & Grounding describes its Ultraweld ground connector as an effective and safe method of exothermically welding copper to copper or copper to steel for the purpose of producing permanent electrical connections. The Ultraweld UltraShot ground connector uses an electronic ignition system that is fired by a rechargeable battery controller, which allows the user to maintain a safe distance from the reaction. www.harger.com
Grounding Kits
Andrew Compact SureGround grounding kits provide protection against severe lightning strikes. The solid-copper grounding kits have passed U.S. Air Force lightning simulation tests and meet MIL-STD-188-124A. A self-sealing design clips and locks onto the cable in less than a minute. The non-braided, solid-copper construction eliminates corrosion caused by moisture retention. www.commscope.com
Indoor Cellular Coverage
Radio Frequency Systems has launched ClearFill Star, a fully digital RF-over-Ethernet indoor cellular coverage solution. ClearFill Star's digital IP-based approach improves indoor wireless service by converting radio coverage into an IP-based Ethernet application. The system uses Cat 5e standard LAN cabling and switches, which reduce the total cost of ownership of the system. www.rfsworld.com
