This is an exciting month for us at Peoria Adventure Boot Camp. Along with the great Spring weather approaching, which makes it so much sweeter to workout outside, we are reaching our goals and pursuing opportunities that are making our fitness adventure even more adventurous!

CAMPERS COLLECT 301 PAIRS OF SHOES |
Campers, Friends, and Family Team Up To Encourage Fitness for Foster
Children 
Peoria Adventure Boot Campers, friends, family and coworkers spent the month of February collecting workout shoes for the children of Sunshine Group Homes. Sunshine Group Homes houses over 200 children, and our mission was to have enough shoes for each child, which would encourage children to get out and get active. 
Many of our campers have been able to experience a healthy lifestyle, emotionally
and physically by attending boot camp. Campers have testimony after testimony of
how becoming physically active has changed their lives. They say it makes them better moms, spouses, and employees. They are happier and more confident. Because of the changes we have experienced through fitness, we wanted to reach out and lift the spirits of these children.
On Saturday, March 1st we had almost 50 participants in our boot camp class, and these participants included girls from one of the group homes. We collected 301 pairs of shoes, and our goal was 300. We met new friends, and we had a great time!
Thank you to all of you who participated, by either donating shoes, collecting shoes, participating in the class, or volunteering your time. It was a great team effort, and it paid off!

 Peoria Adventure Boot Camp Signs a Contract with the Home of the Arizona Cardinal's
On Friday, February 29th Peoria Adventure Boot Camp signed a contract with the University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, to bring the community a boot camp adventure like no other!
Peoria ABC is now offering a co-ed boot camp class on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm beginning March 24th. This will be a 4 week camp, and the cost is $160 for the four weeks.
"I am so excited to offer a camp in a facility that will allow for such variety." Says Lisa Olona, Camp Owner and Instructor. "The moment I received an email from Global Spectrum, asking if I would be interested in running a camp at their stadium, my imagination began running wild."
"I can remember running a boot camp class in a tiny room at an apartment complex in the summer of 2005. I remember really having to find creative ways to keep these ladies fit and motivated, in the heat of the summer, in a tiny room. I also remember saying that this was just the beginning. One day we will be able to workout in a great facility! I believe that day has arrived. I'm just beside myself. We will have stairs, ramps, a wide open field, and the list goes on and on. We will be able to listen to music over the intercom system. It's going to be so exciting! Watch out Biggest Loser!"
