Happy summer!

We are delighted to welcome on board our new Road Warriors (what we affectionately call our summer interns). They are planning to join us at hundreds of concerts, road races and festivals across the country (partial list at the end of this newsletter). We hope we'll see you somewhere along the way.  We've just posted our newest video about my visit to a tea garden in India - we hope you'll take a look. Just by viewing the 2 minute clip you can help support our efforts to enhance a class room at the community school.  Stay safe and full of tea.

Honestly yours,

Seth

Views = India School Desks/Chairs!

For every 500 views we receive for our video about the Korakundah tea garden, Honest Tea will provide a desk and a chair for the new classroom in the community school at the Korakundah Tea garden in southern India. Help us reach our goal of 20,000 views by Friday, June 28th! Let's work together to furnish a full classroom of desks and chairs for 40 students whose parents work on the tea garden. Every video share makes a difference!

Fair Trade: The Last of the Tea Pluckers

Seth recently published a piece for the Huffington Post about Fair Trade and his trip to India. He writes, "What's the difference between an illiterate tea plucker and a Microsoft engineer? One generation. And Fair Trade funds. This spring as I traveled through tea gardens in Southern India and Sri Lanka, I encountered what could be the last generation of tea pluckers." Read Article Here

Honest Fan of the Month

Congratulations to Honest Tea superfan, Stefanie Heston! Stephanie's favorite Honest Tea is Assam Black, and reached out through Twitter to tell us how her husband wooed her when they first met: "My hubby won me over by stocking his fridge with Honest Tea when we were first dating!...He loves Honest Tea's Assam Black Tea...not too sweet-cause he's sweet enough! And yes he actually said that!" Sounds like a keeper to us!
