GET READY TO PUCKER UP FOR HALF & HALF!
We paired freshly brewed black tea and lightly sweetened lemonade for a refreshing balance between sweet and tart. Our Half Tea & Half Lemonade uses organic, Fair Trade Certified™ tea from India, blended with organic lemonade and a touch of organic cane sugar. We may have had a lot of snow this winter but Half & Half is a delicious jumpstart on summer. The drink has 12g of sugar and 48 calories per 8-oz serving.

GET YOUR OWN MINI (ebook, that is)
The newest reading trend just got HONEST (and mini!) We're excited to announce that two new mini ebooks from our TeaEO, Seth Goldman, are now available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble. In "Guard Your Mission, Stay in Control" Seth describes the mentors he turned to as he managed the creation of Honest Tea and in "Keeping It Honest, From Kitchen To Coca-Cola" you'll find Seth's discussion of the HONEST deal with Coca Cola and why it doesn't mean we're selling out; it means they're buying in. Download to your Nook, directly to your laptop, or your Kindle to read Seth's lessons and insights gained while building a leading mission-driven company. A percentage of profits from the sales of these ebooks will be donated to Bethesda Green, a non-profit promoting sustainable growth and living practices in Honest Tea's hometown.
We have a few free ebooks left, so we're offering our HONEST fans the chance to win a free download! Visit here to enter now for your chance to win.

WHAT'S IN A BOTTLE CAP QUOTE?
Sometimes more than you expect. We receive wonderful notes from different individuals and organizations that love our cap and label quotes. We enjoyed hearing about how some chapters of Toastmasters International, a national public speaking association use a cap quote to start their meetings. This month, we received an inspirational note from a teacher with InsideOut Writers, a volunteer organization in the greater Los Angeles area that works with incarcerated youth to encourage writing. He included a very powerful poem by a student. The poem was inspired by one of our favorite African proverbs. "When elephants fight, it's the grass that suffers"
Mom had it rough, so there wasn't enough, to go to waste, pops did him with a robbery case, and my face is always toward the sunshine, growing up taught to get mine, and to stay strong, it's only time, and with time, change your mind, you ain't gotta live on the main line, and for those tough dudes, you're tougher, you a warrior, you're tougher, and when an elephant fights, the grass suffers, and when gods are angry it thunders, but what about the lives under those clouds, the misery is a low cry, and the laughter's loud, when acknowledge not too proud, about our actions, kill the father and who knows how the son will be acting, and the first with an issue, now who's tougher, cause when elephants fight, the grass suffers.

KEEPING THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK HONEST
It seems our Honest quotes are inspiring people from all walks of life. Richard W. Fisher, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas incorporated an Honest Tea cap quote into a speech addressing the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth. He used "If we don't change the direction we are headed, we will end up where we are going," to illustrate his take on the current financial situation. To read the rest of his remarks, click here!

MORE STUDIES HIGHLIGHT THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF TEA
One recent study showed evidence that substances in tea, L-theanine and caffeine, may improve attention and increase speed in responses for both visual and auditory reactions. Read on. An article on WebMD reported that tea may promote trimmer waistlines in men, compared with drinking coffee or nothing at all. Click here to learn more. In an article published in the current issue of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, researchers say that substances found in green tea could protect against common eye diseases like glaucoma. HONEST CONSUMER OF THE MONTH
This month, we stumbled upon our consumer of the month through eBay! An Honest Tea employee purchased an item and had it sent to our Honest Tea headquarters in Bethesda. The seller, Carrie, is a huge fan of Honest Kids, and asked if it happened to be the same company because she and her family adore our thirst quenchers! Carrie of Lebanon, TN buys our Honest Kids because she strives to provide her son Eli with only organic, healthy food and drink. Carrie told us: "We chose them because we eat mostly organic food or all natural. The low sugar content was a good seller too. I believe in eating an organic diet is the most important thing we can do in this day and age. It does make a difference." Thanks, Carrie! You'll be getting your variety pack case of Honest Kids soon!
