Three Dog Bakery Inc. hopes its new product line will fetch the company a whole new pack of clients.

The Kansas City-based provider of all-natural dog food and treats announced the new product line at the annual Global Pet Expo on March 25-27 in Orlando, Fla. The new line comes on the heels of an announcement March 18 about a $2.8 million expansion of its factory at 1843 N. Topping Ave. in Kansas City, expected to create 110 jobs in five years.

A Lesson Learned in Growing a Bakery Business

As a kid, I loved to collect things: superhero comic books, baseball cards, and…acorns. Huge oak trees showered the schoolyard each fall with fat, brown, irresistible acorns. One day during recess, I followed an impulse and filled the pockets of my jeans. What was I thinking?
