Greetings,

Chickens and the eggs they produce, in home gardens and other non-industrial settings, seem to be a national success story--everybody's got them, even in big cities--and they can be a great source of local, high quality and tasty protein.

I remember way back when, when brown eggs were "discovered" and people switched to brown eggs thinking they were more healthful and/or better for the environment. Now we know that egg color is relative to the color of the bird, and different chickens produce eggs in a variety of colors and shades.

Eggs also became controversial in the heart disease and cholesterol debate. Now it seems that eggs have been redeemed as a nutritional source for omnivores. Here's an brief article from the Harvard Health Review on the topic.

Items are packed cold in returnable glass containers and delivered to your home on Tuesday afternoons, in a thermal tote.

Choose meats, fish and chicken, vegetarian or vegan. Portions are generous and usually yield some lunch!

Please inquire about special dietary needs, some requests are really easy! Orders which require completely unique preparations are available for a 10% - 20% charge.
