Yoga, Sound Healing & Water Yoga 
Thursday, September 1st, at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, on Hwy 12 in Boyes Hot Springs.

Enjoy yoga & deep relaxation accompanied by singing and flute music from 2pm-3:20pm. Meet in the watsu pool for water yoga 3:30-4pm. $45 includes all day access to soak in the mineral pools!

Greetings,

Come to the Santa Rosa Farmers' Market this Saturday, August 27th, for a taste of fried padrón and shishitso peppers. I'll be at the Market, cooking off the peppers and offering samples from 10:00 to noon or so.

The market is open from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm, and the produce is gorgeous, especially at this time of year!

Padron pepper

Named for the Spanish town of Padrón, the small green peppers (pimientos de Padrón), are from the Capsicum annuum family, and were originally brought to Spain from Mexico by Franciscan monks in the 16th century. 

They are traditionally served fried with olive oil and coarse salt. The entire pepper is eaten, except for the stem. Most taste sweet and mild, though some are hot and spicy--it's like playing "Spanish" roulette. The shishitso pepper is Japanese in origin, but similar to the Spanish variety.

On Saturday you should be able to find them at Triple T Ranch, Beet Generation and Armstrong Farms stands, and maybe others, too.

The fried peppers are a delicious expression of the height of summer taste--get them while they are in season!

Items are packed cold in returnable glass containers and delivered to your home on Tuesday afternoons, in a thermal tote.

Choose meats, fish and chicken, vegetarian or vegan. Portions are generous and usually yield some lunch!

Please inquire about special dietary needs, some requests are really easy! Orders which require completely unique preparations are available for a 10% - 20% charge.
