Santa Rosa and Sonoma County are hosting the first ever National Heirloom Exposition in September, at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, to promote the knowledge and use of heirloom seeds and varietals in agriculture, manufacturing and marketing. You can taste hundreds of varieties of traditional vegetables and fruits from all over the nation--heirloom produce you've never seen before--and bring your own homegrown or farm-raised heirloom favorites to display and share. It's a three day event, Tuesday, Sept. 13th-Thursday, Sept. 15th. Guest speakers include Vandana Shiva, Alice Waters, and anti-GMO advocate Jeffrey Smith, as well as panel discussions and demos from local and national experts. Check out the schedulehere. Selection of tasty menu items for lunches and dinners, Tuesday through Thursday. Includes two entrées and sides, soup and salad, rolls and dessert.

Please inquire about special dietary needs, some requests are really easy! Orders which require completely unique preparations are available for a 10% - 20% charge. |
