A great way to learn about canning and preserving summer produce is through Santa Rosa Junior College Community Education, "Putting Up Summer: A Primer on Canning and Preserving Summer Fruits and Vegetables." The next session is Fri. August 5, 9:00 AM-3:30 PM., at Shone Farm in Forestville.

Ag instructor Wendy Krupnick takes you out in the field to pick strawberries for jam, and culinary instructor Lorrette Patzwald, pictured at right, provides the hands-on education, teaming students up to make jam and pickled vegetables. Everyone goes home with two jars of each item.

Basic Pack     from $77

Selection of tasty menu items for lunches and dinners, Tuesday through Thursday. Includes two entrées and sides, soup and salad, rolls and dessert.

Omnivore (all meat choices)
For one    $95    for two, $145    for three, $190

Omnivore (includes a veggie entrée)
For one    $90    for two, $138     for three, $170

Vegetarian

Enjoy dinner Tuesday though Friday. Tasty mix and match items usually yields some lunch, too. Includes three entrées and sides, soup and salad, rolls and dessert.

Just Entrées and Sides  from $77

Enjoy generous dinners Tuesday though Thursday. Includes three entrées--most people say they have some leftover for lunch.

Items are packed cold in returnable glass containers and delivered to your home on Tuesday afternoons, in a thermal tote.

Choose meats, fish and chicken, vegetarian or vegan. Portions are generous and usually yield some lunch!

Please inquire about special dietary needs, some requests are really easy! Orders which require completely unique preparations are available for a 10% - 20% charge.
