Greetings!
I've been discovering pea shoots, the leaves and tendrils of the snow pea or other garden pea plant, from Nathan Boone's First Light Farms market stall at the Santa Rosa Farmers' Market.
Pea shoots, or sprouts, are really versatile. You can use them raw in a salad, wilted in an omelet, frittata or in pasta, or completely cooked in a stir fry or soup. They are considered a leafy green vegetable, provide a nice pea flavor (without the work of shelling!) and contain vitamins A, C, k and folate.

Please inquire about special dietary needs, some requests are really easy! Orders which require completely unique preparations are available for a 10% - 20% charge. |
