Northalsted Halloween Parade this Sunday, October 31st

Halloween is this Sunday and "Little Street of Horrror" is coming to Northalsted! Don't be on the sidelines when the parade passes by -- join us at Space Park (815 W Roscoe) with your kids and pets. Adults, couples and groups should register at SPIN (800 W Belmont) for their chance in over $4,000 in prizes. STREET CLOSURES AND NO-PARKING ON SUNDAYRoscoe Street - from Halsted to Space Park just passed the alley (12N - 10PM)Halsted Street - from Belmont north to Addison (2PM - 10PM)Halsted Street - from Belmont south to Clark (4PM - 7PM) Halsted and Belmont intersection will be closed from 6PM-7PM Corresponding side streets will be closed to thru-traffic 2PM-10PM Pedestrian crossing points will be at Belmont, Roscoe and Cornelia
KIDS and PETS @ SPACE PARK (815 W Roscoe St from 4-5:30PM)For kids 10 and under: Trick-or-treating (with lots of candy and prizes), Cookie Decorating, Bean Bag Toss, Bozo Buckets, Story Telling, a Scary Graveyard and more! All kids who join us at by 5:30PM will receive candy and prizes and can march in the parade.
For pets: Mingle outside Space Park with little gift bags with treats for pets and their humans. The Kids/Pets prizes will be awarded at the Park around 5:45PM. At 6PM, Children and pets are invited to begin the march down Halsted to kick-off the parade. After the parade, the kids can strut their stuff on the main stage before the show starts.
ADULTS, COUPLES and GROUPS @ Belmont and Halsted Registration to March in Parade at SPIN (800 W Belmont): 3:00 -5:30PM (you must register by 5:30PM to participate in the parade or enter the contest - please bring photo ID). Parade Step-off @ 6:15 PM for those who have registered in advance. Post Parade Awards and Entertainment around 8PM at our Main Stage @ Fabulous Parking at Halsted & Brompton. Entertainment this year includes fire performers, Chicago Spirit Brigade and our master of ceremonies, Miss Foozie.
