There are many events in Lake View during September so we wanted to highlight a few that may be of interest to you and your friends. These will be great ways to meet new friends and spend time in Lake View.      


 

Save these October dates: Oct. 3 ELVN Fall Pig Roast at Murphy's Bleachers and Oct. 13 for a LVCC Seminar on Home Energy/Utilities. Oct. 31 Parade on Halsted. More details on these events will be coming.

Lakeview East Festival of the Arts
September 11-12, 2010
 
Come to the Festival of the Arts on Broadway-Belmont to Roscoe from 10-6 on Saturday and 10-5 p.m. on Sunday. Over 150 juried artists, live music, family activities, Christy Webber Landscape Oasis, local cuisine, beer/wine garden and great art. Donations are appreciated on both days. For more information contact 773-348-8608 or visit www.lakevieweast.com.
 
 
 
LVCC Wine Tasting

Come to the Captain Morgan Club at Wrigley on Sunday September 19, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. to taste a variety of wines. A suggested donation of $20 includes some light food. You can puchase your tickets in advance by visiting our website.
 
 
Bike Around Lake View
September 20, 2010 
 
Meet by the firehouse on Waveland across from Wrigley Field on Monday September 20, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. for an hour or so bike ride around Lake View. The  Chicago Bike Ambassadors and the Chicago Police from the 19th and 23rd Districts will escort the ride. You will get to see the different neighborhoods of Lake View. We will meet after the ride at a neighborhood location.
