Benchmade Donates 
$50,000  
Les and Roberta de Asis, owners of Benchmade Knife Company recently donated $50,000 for a military scholarship, which will benefit service member's families. The De Asis family contribution is one of three other founding contributions made. All four founders are members of the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition and have committed to raising $1 million.  While there are financial aid programs available to the men and women of our armed services, it is their family members that often suffer and go without the opportunity to advance their education. This scholarship program was created to recognize the contribution of military families to the readiness of the United States Military.
