CUE Presents at the 2010 ASHE Annual Conference in Indianapolis

Drs. Estela Mara Bensimon and Alicia C. Dowd, along with CUE staff, will be presenting at the 2010 Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) Annual Conference in Indianapolis, November 17 - 20. The theme for this year's conference is "Higher Education Scholarship and Public Policy: What is the Optimal Alignment?"

Over the last two years, the Ford Foundation has supported the ASHE Institutes on Equity and Critical Policy Analysis, which were organized by the Center for Urban Education. The Institutes were formed to identify, call attention to, and change policies and educational practices that produce racial-ethnic inequities in postsecondary outcomes. A directory was recently created to keep all the institute participants connected.
