Who Would You Say We Are?
In our quest to better understand who Evolve Chesapeake is, we have solicited your responses to try to encapsulate who you feel we are in around 100 words. We are delighted to present our first response, from Charlie Green:
"Evolve Chesapeake is a spiritual community that accepts and includes all people, whatever their race, gender, sexual orientation, or even religious beliefs. It invites everyone to join in a search for meaning and identity, using familiar rituals such as communion to engage, but asks that they look at them from a different perspective. All are allowed to see the Divine however they may define it, whether as God, nature, physics, or anything else they are comfortable with. One of its best sayings is "originally blessed, not original sin," a beautiful reminder that the Divine loves and embraces everyone."

ANNAPOLIS 4TH OF JULY PARADE
Marylanders for Marriage Equality were in the 4th of July parade in Annapolis this year. Several companions from Evolve Chesapeake represented us well, carrying our rainbow flag and MFME banners through the city's downtown area and down to city dock. The response from onlookers in general was very positive, and we were fortunate to have great weather.
