IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT JESUS OF NAZARETH
some thoughts from Pastor Wayne

Star Forming Region

Good Friday this year falls on Earth Day!  What a great time for a Creation Spirituality Community to remember that crucifixions occur in many ways.  We might remember the millions of people who have lost their lives through violence, bigotry, hatred and ignorance.  Good Friday begs us to look at ways in which Earth and our fellow creatures are crucified every day and our complicity in those acts.

Our journey through the Via Negativa demands that we open ourselves to encountered the truth of our life, not just dwell among the "happy, feel good moments."  If we truly seek to grow our compassion then we are required to encounter with suffering and those who witness to the goodness of Life, justice and the ultimate triumph of Love in the mist of suffering and justice work.  Take the risk, come join us for Good Friday service on April 19.  From darkness the light is brighter and brings new Life.
