Another year has passed and entries are now open for Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB) 2010.   一年過去，今年的全球樂隊比賽現在開始接受報名。     http://gbobchina.com

Global Battle of the Bands is a worldwide competition where each band performs 2 original songs in 8 minutes or less.   At the World Final, bands from different countries compete for the main prize of US$100,000 in band development (US$10,000 in cash, 10 date UK tour + 1 week recording in a UK studio)

全球樂隊比賽（GBOB）是一個國際性的樂隊比賽，每隊樂隊需要在八分鐘以內表演兩首原創歌曲。在全球總決賽，來自世界各地的樂隊會聚集一堂，爭取贏得總值十萬美金的樂隊發展資助金（一萬美金現金獎、十天英國巡迴演出及在英國錄音室為期一星期的錄音）

This year we have six heats to enter at different venue.  One band per heat will go through to the Hong Kong final (which will be on 5^th or 6^th November 2010)

這一年我們將會在不同的場地進行六個初賽。每場初賽勝出的樂隊將會進入香港區決賽（11月5或6號進行）

Prizes at the Hong Kong final as follows:   香港區決賽奬品包括：

FIRST PLACE (冠軍):

• One Gibson Les Paul Junior guitar 結他一支
  
• HK$5000 Tom Lee coupons 通利現金劵（總值港幣五千元)
  
• Representing Hong Kong in China Final of GBOB 代表香港參加中國總決賽
  
• Chance to appear on The Underground Compilation CD4  被收錄在The Underground合輯4的機會
  

SECOND PLACE (亞軍):

•  HK$2000 Tom Lee vouchers  通利現金劵（總值港幣二千元）
  

THIRD PLACE (季軍):

• HK$1000 Tom Lee vouchers   通利現金劵（總值港幣一千元）
  

ALL bands participating will receive Ernie Ball guitar strings, Ernie Ball bass strings and an Ernie Ball guitar strap.   所有參加樂隊將會獲得Ernie Ball 結t他線、貝斯線和結他背帶。   

At all heats, the audience vote counts for 50% and the judges vote counts for 50%.   There will be a lucky draw at each event, where the audience will have the chance to win great prizes.
初賽中，觀眾及評判的票數各佔一半。屆時將會有幸運抽獎，觀眾們也有機會贏得豐富大奬。

The final will be held in Hong Kong on 20 November 2010, where the winning band will receive 

中國總決賽將會於2010年11月20號在香港進行，勝出樂隊將會獲得：

• an all expenses paid trip to World Final (including flights & accommodation)  參加全球總決賽之旅費（包機票及食宿）
  
• Guaranteed appearance at Zebra Music Festival - Cheng Du, May 2011.  (including flights & accommodation) 在成都熱波音樂節（2011年5月）中演出（包機票及食宿）
  

Judges will comprise of established musicians, respected music journalists, music editors and people involved in the music industry.  

評判包括資深音樂人、音樂記者、音樂監製及其他活躍於本地樂壇之人士。

For those who don't know "Rustic" (from Beijing, China) WON the World Final in 2009.  They are now signed to Maybe Mars label and will tour UK later in 2010.  

2009年全球總冠軍Rustic（北京，中國），現在已跟Maybe Mars （兵馬司）唱片公司簽約，2010年將往英國進行巡迴演唱。

Hong Kong's live music scene is thriving and to prove it, we are planning to produce Compilation CD4 that will showcase the creativity of Hong Kong musicians in one easily accessed package for the world to see.

香港現場音樂會正發展蓬勃，因此我們計劃發行新一輯合輯以證明之。合輯第四集與首三集一樣，集合了香港音樂人無限創意，給全世界欣賞！
