INVITATION TO OAXACA

We will be moving the first week of July to Oaxaca, Mexico to begin our third term of missionary ministry.

An invitation was given to teach at CAMAD, the Assembly of God school that trains Mexican nationals in preparation for missions work to other countries- including Muslim nations and the 10/40 window- as well as home missions work among indigenous tribes and ethnic groups such as the Old Colony Germans.

NEW FACES AND PLACES

We have found a house to rent in the mountainside pueblo of San Andres de Huayapam on the outskirts of Oaxaca City.

Moving there will be an adventure for the guys: a 2,600 mile, six day road trip in our Speed-the-Light vehicle. The girls get to fly, since that will give more luggage space in the truck as well as keep the road trip rolling at a good pace.

We look forward to getting to know this new area, visiting the kids new school, finding a home church, and meeting local leadership.

WOULD YOU PRAY?

Safety in travel
Health for the entire family, especially during the transition days
Complete healing of Mike's epilepsy
Smooth settling into our new house and community
Our oldest, Michael, as he continues his internship in North Ridgeville and returns to VFCC this fall.

PRAYERS ANSWERED:

School for the kids - Oaxaca Christian School runs K-12 and is a college prep school
A house - we found one before moving; now we have a place as soon as we arrive
Provision - Our home church is having a 'missionary shower' to help us out with needed household items
Teaching/Mentoring - clearly Mike's gifting, he will have abundant opportunites in this
