Rain For the Campos
"The Lord will make the desert like Eden, joy will be found there" Isaiah 51:3

Dear Friends and Family,
We wish you a blessed New Year as you walk with Christ, our soon coming King!
Itinerant Missionary
Mike has been muy contento having opportunity to preach after spending the first six months of 2006 on medical leave. We are racking up the miles and even though there is a physical weariness to this, the spiritual and emotional energy is edifying. Besides being faithful to preach the Word, we are raising cash and monthly pledges to be able to return to the field later this year.
We Need Services
We have openings for missions services in the upcoming months. If you would like to schedule an upcoming service, Mike can be reached at 419.709.2293. Available dates still open for January are:
  • Sunday January 14 - Evening Service
  • Wednesday January 17
  • Sunday January 21 - Evening Service
  • Sunday January 28 - Evening Service
  • Wednesday January 31
Please allow us the privilege of preaching the Word with passion and sharing our work with your church.
This is missions!
Several have asked what happens to the work while we are here in the states. What happens is faithfulness, burden and love for the lost by a group of young people who dare to cross cultural boundaries. Two of our young Mexican mentorees continue to make trips from Chihuahua city to the German campos to minister the gospel, build bridges and break down racist barriers.

Jocy's testimony: "Approximately 10 young adults traveled from the German camps to Chihuahua city at our invitation for a meal, games, and fellowship. When they arrived, one of them informed the group that it was their first time ever to visit Mexicans in Chihuahua, since it is strange to visit anyone outside of their own culture, or circle. God is uniting us and this is very important! When they first entered the house, they all appeared to be serious and unfriendly since they didn’t know all the young people from our church, but after the meal the ice was broken as we sang, played games, and shared testimonies".

Prayer Needs
  • For more services scheduled
  • For funds and monthly faith pledges to be raised
  • For Jocy, Alejandro, and the group that continues to minister
  • For the hurting, lost, addicted souls of the campos
  • For our health and safety as we travel
  • For our son Michael as he makes decisions regarding college and course of study
