An Everything DiSC Workplace Reinforcement Exercise | | |
Individual Contributor Action Plan
This exercise is designed to help each person to be their best and maximize their contribution. Have each person complete the exercise and set aside the first 15 minutes of each team meeting to have 1 or 2 people share their answers. It's a great team building exercise.
Pages 1-6 of the Everything DiSC Workplace Profile is all about you. Answer the following questions.
- What behavioral strengths have contributed to your success so far and why (be specific).
- Which of your motivators do you enjoy most in your current work environment?
- Which do you need more of?
- What do you need to do in order to get more of what you need?
- What stressors do you experience in your work environment?
- How do they mitigate your effectiveness?
- What do you need to do to be more effective? Page 16 will be helpful for this question as well.
- Identify those behaviors you need to Stop doing because they aren't working, Start doing that you haven't been doing but would help you to be more effective, and what behaviors are currently working that you want to Continue doing.
One thing I know for sure, it is absolutely essential to continue to "speak DiSC" every chance you get to obtain maximum outcomes! When I was first learning DiSC, one of my mentors suggested that I "speak DiSC" at least 10 minutes every day! I am forever grateful for that suggestion. |
