Hello!
In October, 2011, my dear apprentice and friend, Andal, passed away. Andal had been in my life since 2003. We shared a sweet relationship of love, acceptance and respect that grew over the years.
This past July, I visited with Andal in her home in northern California. We had a deep and silly time together, and I bugged her into doing a video testimonial for Joydancer.com. It has become less a testimonial and more a testament to the relationship she and I celebrated. Her feisty, rascally love comes right through the screen and reminds me how precious Andal was and all of life is.
In August, we at Joydancer received the message that our dear Andal had been admitted to the hospital. Immediately, members of the Joydancer Toltec community all over the world, who knew and loved her, began to respond and send their love and energy to her and her family.
In October, Andal made her transition. I am sharing our video with you here in her honor and memory. Andal's life wasn't easy, but her dedication to her Toltec path and the support of her Joydancer family helped her to change her dream and to enjoy her final years. I offer this video as a reminder that no matter what our circumstances or past hurts, we have the opportunity, through awareness and self-love, to heal old wounds and be free to be who we came here to be. With no justifications or apologies!
That said, here is Andal.....
