"Remembering Our Divinity at This Time of Year"
This is an amazing time of year. People celebrate, people ignore, and people suffer. I hope no matter what your experience is, you remember the true meaning of this time-- which for me is about the returning of the light of the sun, and, more important, the return of our awareness that we
are each the light that creates and animates this universe in each moment.
We don't have to believe in anything or anybody to celebrate our Divinity. Perhaps that is the value of the story of Jesus, honored at this time each year. We can take the story literally, and/or we can hear it as the story of our individual awakening into the recognition of our Divinity. We were born as a gift to humanity, adored and cherished, then often made wrong and punished.
I've received many great newsletters and e-mails this week about the winter solstice, the time of darkness, the magic of the eclipse, and other dreams. Have you noticed this is also the time of coming into the light? Starting now there is
more light. The story of Jesus, the birth of The Light, happens now. And he said "I am the Light." Perhaps his message was meant as a reminder that we are
ALL the Light. We are all the Divine source, God, Spirit, Life, Light, Love.
"In the beginning there was the Word, and the Word was made flesh." There was nothing here but the potential we call God, and that power made creation-- out of itself! That means that all of creation is made from the pure potentiality of creation, and animated by the same power that created it. If there is nothing here but that power, that force, that God stuff...then
we must be
IT.
And into this world was born the son of God, the manifestation of the Word made flesh. Could that be
you!? Can you live your life as the manifestation of God's Word, the child of Love, conceived directly through the power of that force of Life that is everywhere in this universe?? Can we live this story of the Christ energy, born this day, as OUR story?
I hope you will use this time to recognize and remember the truth of who and what you really are. I AM.
