Our new look is here!  Pleasant Hill Rec is excited to premiere our new "Pleasant Hill Rec" logo as one of the district's many thrilling transformations.  Along with a new logo, our new website will be launched later this week.  It will still have all of the program information you're looking for, but with a fresh, new style that will be easier to navigate.  2012 is already shaping up to be a great year here at Pleasant Hill Rec!

Join us on Tuesday, February 7th from 4-5:30 pm for a unique chance to find out more about the exciting aspects of our Preschool program.  Classes include indoor and outdoor activities that develop small and large motor skills, while language and concept imagery are explored through stories, circle time activities, and dramatic play. The children are also introduced to a variety of art media and creative music.  Locations: Gregory Gardens Elementary, Rooms 10/11, 1 Corritone Ct

Are you looking to make some extra money? The Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District wants to help you do this. If you or someone you know has a hobbie, skill, talent or expertise in something you feel would make a great program or class and you would like to offer it then we want to hear from you!  It is important for us to remain current on trends, to continually improve the quality of our programs and provide the community with exceptional recreational opportunities. We are looking for Good People who:

  • Are reliable, responsible, well-organized, and team players
  • Have special skills to share
  • Enjoy working with people
  • Can provide a supportive and motivating environment
  • Are enthusiastic and energetic

Don't miss the first of our four Spring Swim Clinics.  Focus is on stroke technique and drill progressions for competitive swimming. All swimmers must have prior competitive experience.

Sign up now for one of our varied dance classes.  Our top-notch instructors and comfortable class sizes will enable you to strut onto the dance floor with confidence.  
 
Classes include Bollywood & Bhangra Blast, a Belly Dance Series, Let's Go Dancing (includes Waltz, Samba, Rumba, Triple Swing, and more), Salsa Club Dancing 101, and Wedding Party Dance.
