The Central Florida Sports Commission, the City of Orlando, Edgewater High School, and Orange County Public Schools will serve as co-hosts for the 2010 FHSAA Football Finals. In this event's fourth year in Orlando, we hope surpass 2007's mark of more than 55,752 spectators (the second largest crowd in FHSAA history) and break the FHSAA record.

Seminole High School plays Dr. Phillips this Friday night in the state semifinals. If they win, they would advance to the 6A championship game on December 18th.

The four-day event consists of eight state championship games to be played at the Florida Citrus Bowl on Dec. 10, 11, 17 and 18. For more information, and to find out which teams will be playing, please click HERE.  We hope to see you there!

CHoliday Cheer

The 2010 holiday season already is proving to be a joyous one for Hagerty's Junior Midget and Lake Howell's Senior Midget cheerleaders, who will get a chance to showcase their skills against the nation's best.

Hagerty's Junior Midget team, the second-oldest age-group squad in its organization, tumbled and chanted its way to a championship in the Small Intermediate Division of the Pop Warner Southeast Regional Championships over Thanksgiving weekend at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee. Lake Howell's Senior Midgets, the oldest age-group team in its league, finished second in the Small Advanced Division.

The top-two finishes earned Hagerty's Junior Midgets and Lake Howell's Senior Midgets a berth in the National Pop Warner Cheer Championships, taking place this week at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
