Port of Wilmington Driven Tour

On Monday, August 18, 2008 the World Trade Center Delaware with the cooperation of the Diamond State Port Corporation hosted a port tour of the Port of Wilmington. Tour participants first attended a detailed presentation of the port's impact on the import/export industry of Delaware. The presentation was followed by a comprehensive driven tour of the Port of Wilmington. Key tour points included; Cold Storage Warehouse, Auto & RoRo berth, Railway Proximity, Seaman's Center, and Bulk Cargo Cranes and Containers.

Greece, the home of the ancient Olympics, has participated in every Summer Olympics since the modern Games began in 1896 and has been host twice: in 1896 and 2004, both in Athens. Australia is the only other nation to have participated at every Olympic Games of the modern era. The United States has competed in every Summer Olympics except the 1980 Moscow Games, which it boycotted over the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. India is credited with sending a single athlete to the 1900 Paris Games. It first sent a team to the 1920 Antwerp Games and has participated at every Summer Games since. The Germans were excluded from the 1920, 1924 and 1948 Summer Games because of World Wars I and II.
