Community Action Council (CAC) is requesting $1,000 in funds to secure housing for a woman and her family who have been through a trauma. Their client recently experienced the sudden violent death of a family member who was living with them. In addition, her husband was laid off from work, and so they have now fallen behind in rent of their current housing. 

This woman has her 2 year old grandchild living with her and she has now located a potential apartment.  However, she will need $2,700 for a security deposit and first month's rent.  The woman's husband is now re-employed and earns $800 every two weeks and is able to help her maintain this housing. CAC will be able to assist with $1,700 of the total cost  but needs additional support in the amount of $1,000.
