Dear WGC Donors and Friends,
We've had a great summer supporting our Journey Camp for girls, managing our successful Response Network, cheering on our Circle Team donor/athletes as they geared up for the Iron Girl Triathlon and planning for the fall.
The WGC is a giving circle - a group of many women who care about women and girls who want to make a stronger, larger impact together.
This means we have many women collaborating in a variety of ways to raise and pool funds, organize fun and educational programs and events, engage a diverse group of women, and make grants together to invest in women and girls in perpetuity here in Howard County.
On September 13 The Mall in Columbia will host City Gives, a national philanthropic event that will benefit the WGC, where we will join together to celebrate two women philanthropists who have made a tremendous impact in our community this past decade.
People ask me all the time how best to get involved in the WGC.
The City Gives event is a great example of how to engage. You will meet, socialize and network with other women philanthropists. You will celebrate women who make change. You will learn more about the WGC. You will join with over 1,000 women who have raised over $1 million this past decade. You will support the future of philanthropy in our county.
You will invest in the WGC by purchasing your ticket.
Won't you join us?
