This woman was in a living situation where she was getting physically abused. She was able to get out of the situation and obtained a protective order from this man. He has not helped financially with supporting their children and is currently incarcerated for violating the protective order and so is not able to financially contribute. She is now behind on her bills and her BGE service was cut off. The $850 will allow her to work out a payment plan with BGE through the Public Service Commission.
