FIRN is requesting immediate assistance of $750 to help a client.
The woman is a Thai citizen who is divorced and really struggling. She cannot work due to severe injuries to her shoulder and neck. She applied for disability and medical assistance, but needs her Citizenship Certificate to prove that she is a US Citizen. That was lost in the divorce. She was also a victim of violence and her son committed suicide during the divorce proceedings. The application and process costs are $750.00. This client is really desperate. If she gets proof of citizenship, she will get disability and medical assistance.
