FIRN is seeking immediate assistance of $1000 to fix a client's car so that she has reliable transportation. 

  This client came to the US from Mexico with her husband and three children. Shortly after their move, her husband began to beat her. Hoping he would change, she did not leave him at first. However, when he began hurting the children, she knew that it was time to leave. She is working with FIRN to get a U-Visa, but it is still in the process. Supporting her three children on her own has been very difficult, but she has been able to make ends meet. Recently, her car broke down. Without reliable transportation, she cannot get to work, which endangers her means of supporting herself and her children. The estimate to have it fixed is $1207.42. She can pay the $207.42 but needs help with the remaining balance of $1000.
