Bridging to Housing Stability is seeking immediate assistance of $600 to purchase a queen bed for the mother of a two week old baby.  

 This woman found herself pregnant and homeless after becoming a victim of domestic violence at the hand of her son's father. She had worked tirelessly to bring some stability to her life before giving birth to her son. Thankfully, her determination paid off and she and her son are settled peacefully in transitional housing. Through donations, her own savings, and help from community organizations, she has managed to get everything she needs for her baby and herself except a comfortable bed. After all she has endured in the last nine months, the staff of Bridges is looking for $600 to purchase a complete queen bed for her. This will be a great help and offer a bit more comfort as she begins her new life as a single mother.
