Family and Children's Services is seeking immediate assistance of $950 to help a young mother and her two girls leave an abusive relationship and move into their own apartment. 

 This woman is a 30 year old  mother with 8 and 5 year old daughters. She is employed full-time and was approved financially to move into a new apartment. She is leaving an abusive relationship not only for herself but also because, as her girls get older, she does not want them to witness abuse and think that this type of relationship is acceptable. She needs $950 to not lose the apartment and can then afford the monthly payments. She has made calls to various agencies to try to obtain assistance, but has not qualified for any government program or agency-funded rental assistance.
