The Community Action Council is seeking immediate assistance of $1,000 for a 65 year old female who lives with her adult daughter.  

She works two full time jobs and her daughter works one. She never expected to be in this situation at age 65, but she found herself facing foreclosure due to financing terms. She applied for a loan modification program through a third party agent and her monthly mortgage payments were reduced to an affordable amount.  However, the agency that applied for the modification on her behalf is charging her $3,200. They have given her a payment schedule of $1,400 initial payment and $400 monthly payments.   

CAC believes that providing her assistance with the initial payment will get her back on her feet. Please help her avoid a crisis!
