It's Time to Talk: a Forum on Dating Violence

During this free community forum, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to the warning signs of potentially dangerous relationships. The forum panel will include representatives from the DVC, the Howard County Police, the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence, as well as survivors of violence.

WGC's Response Network

Last month the WGC's Response Network quickly raised $150 for the Healthy Families Program.  The program was helping a homeless woman, her 15 year old daughter and her 16 month old granddaughter get the money they needed to fix their car's alternator so they can travel to the shelter to stay out of the cold.   The Response Network has raised well over $4,200 in 2010 and over $25,000 between 2003 and 2009.  Be on the look out for the next request and be a part of helping women in need.
