WGC Response Network
On May 5th, the WGC Response Network sent out at request for assistance from the Grassroots program.  A woman trying to support an intact family of four through a challenging economy was in need and truly benefited from the generosity of the WGC donors.  This woman has worked very hard to keep her family housed and stable, but needed $1,000 to save them from being evicted. It would have been tragic for this family to lose their housing. We were able to quickly raise $1,000 to help.  Thank you again for pooling your dollars to make a difference.

Comment from a WGC donor:

I still marvel every time I see these emails.  How wonderful that in less than 4 hours' time WGC has helped a woman in an awfully stressful predicament.  It's sooo wonderful-truly.
