A Woman Needs Our Help! $1,000
FIRN is seeking immediate help for a woman who came to the United States from the Congo when her husband was transferred here for his job. Tragically, in 1997 he was struck by a car and has been in a coma ever since. She earns $80/week as a hairdresser. The family's electricity has been cut off and monthly maintenance fees are continuing until the $4,000+ bill is paid. She has obtained money from her church and friends and relatives but still needs $1,000 to pay off the bill so electricity can be restored and the unneeded monthly maintenance service can be cancelled.
