Dear WGC Donors & Friends,

It's the time of year when you may be asked to donate to many different causes, especially because of the challenging economy. It's a tough time for many in our community, and for many who wish to help.

And, it's the time of year when we receive most of the support from our donors.

Women's philanthropy is about empowerment, passion and impact. And sometimes it's about prioritizing the issues and causes that are truly important to you and making some choices about where you want to give your money.

We are asking you today to choose to invest your philanthropic dollars in the Women's Giving Circle of Howard County this year and thus invest in women and girls in our county today, tomorrow and in perpetuity.

Being a donor to the Women's Giving Circle provides you with the opportunity to leverage your dollars with over 650 others who share a desire to build a community of philanthropists and create a permanent legacy to address the needs of women and girls in Howard County.

Just think - if you pledge $1,500 over 5 years today - you will invest just $25 a month, or less than $1 a day in women and girls in our community.
