A Woman Needs Our Help! - $900
Grassroots is seeking immediate help for an 82 year old woman who lives alone and is trying desparately to avoid foreclosure on her home.
She owns her home which was completely paid for until her husband took out a large home equity loan, against her wishes, before he died. She is now paying down the loan and is two months in arrears because of emergency repairs to her well.
She needs $900 to pay the amount she has fallen behind on her loan to avoid foreclosure.
With a donation of $900 the immediate threat of foreclosure will be removed. She is in excellent health and able to take care of herself and her home. It would be tragic if this independent and hard working woman were to lose her home at this time in her life.
